All Eyes On You

Personal beliefs converging collective conventions sets off inevitable altercation. Distinctive, marginalized people being persecuted for what they believe in is one of the social ills prevalent in society today. Hostility would undoubtedly be present when two differing beliefs clashed, when either wouldn’t abide another. There are substantial precedents to which we can easily point out how humans as a collective have left marks of intolerance whatever the façade we choose to hate on. Races, faces, skins, religions, cults, creeds, sexes, ages, heights, weights, or whatever it might be. Display of civility when it comes to differing opinions is utopian, and at its core the holy grail of achieving a harmonious community.

By digesting, by expressing your ideals or from others, is the only way we grow insights into others’ minds. It’s hard enough to comprehend people’s perspectives, as we need to know and be aware of the context, the situation they are in, and how they form their own differing beliefs. No backstory is plain and simple to any formed beliefs. Our understanding of the cultural implication we might have to others is way shallower than we thought. To coexist within the boundaries of differences could only forward our sense of solidarity among the circle. The loose interpretation of the society makes for an intriguing, idiosyncratic study of life by which we are our own subject. Each and every individual gives varying outlook even when the subject in question is the same. Given this diverse point of view within the scope of the whole society asks all of us to express these unique voices we have inside us.

You are your own voice. You are constructed by which perspectives, beliefs, opinions you have. The need to be understood will simply be fulfilled by voicing your own understanding of the things that people find contradictory. Manifesting one’s own views despite being deviated from customs is the true egalitarian venture. To please everyone is to expect inevitable disappointment, given everyone has different sets of minds, and humans, essentially always ask for more.

All eyes on you. All you have is you and your own voice. They might be fleeting, but to be spoken into existence is to offer one more look into mankind’s oddity.

So, what are you waiting for?
